New Program Fee Policies in Effect Starting September 1st, 2009

CanSkate Programs:

  1. The special discount for Full Season (September to March) only applies when you register and pay the Full Season price in full before September program begins or before the first day of skating for late registrations. In other words, if you decide to pay for Session 1 (September to December) first, then you no longer can pay the balance of special discounted price in December for Session 2 (January to March). You have to pay the full price for Session 2.
  2. The “Buy any 2 days full season or 2 kids full season from same family” package discount only applies when you register and pay in full for 2 days full season or 2 kids full season before September program begins or before the first day of skating for late registrations. If you register 1 day full season for your child but want to add the second day later, you cannot get the 2 days full season special package price. Also, if you register one child at beginning, and want to add second child later; the package discount does not apply as well. Same rules apply to 3 days full season or 3 kids full season from same family.

Junior Development Programs:

The 2 days special package price only applies when you register for 2 days and pay in full before September program begins or before the first day of skating for late registrations.

Private Skate Program:

There is no prorating from fewer days to more days packages. For example, you register for 2 days intermediate, and one month later you want to change to 3 days intermediate, then you have to pay the difference between the two full prices ($1080 - $810 = $270).

Reason for the Changes:

Our club members had increased tremendously in the past 3 years. In order to simplify the registration tasks and make them “DOABLE” for the voluntary executive board members (skaters’ parents just like you), we have to make the fee structure very simple and easy to follow when the task is transferred from one person to another and there is no gray area for “guessing”. The above rules apply to everyone including the board members’ kids.
